Kemampuan Matematis Mahasiswa Berdasarkan Gender

Abstract


Abstrak: Kemampuan matematis laki-laki dan perempuan berbeda. Pada saat menyelesaikan soal, laki-laki mengerjakan secara ringkas dan sulit dalam menjelaskan solusi/jawabannya. Sedangkan perempuan mengerjakan soal dengan cara panjang serta mudah dalam menjelaskan solusinya. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan matematis antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes. Analisis dilakukan dengan pengujian statistik berupa uji-t independen dengan taraf signifikansi adalah 5%. Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan analisis data tidak ada perbedaan secara signifikan kemampuan matematis laki-laki dan perempuan di Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi Islam.
